I do not sell visitor data and I do not run ads on this site.

### Hosting

The site is static files on GitHub Pages. GitHub’s servers see the usual request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer) in access logs. I do not run Universal Analytics or a marketing pixel.

### Comments

Comments on posts use [Giscus](https://giscus.app), which is GitHub Discussions. GitHub’s privacy policy applies when you leave a comment while signed in to GitHub. TIL notes do not have comments.

### Contact form

The [contact form](/contact/) is hosted by Wufoo. Whatever you submit goes to me through that form. Do not send secrets you would not put in email.

### Search

Search runs in your browser against a Pagefind index of the public HTML. Queries do not go to a third-party search SaaS.

### Cookies

The theme preference (`light` / `dark`) is stored in `localStorage` on your device. There is no login cookie for the site itself.
